Le Peintre et son modèle - Picasso, Tapisserie Jules Pansu

This tapestry is a reproduction of Pablo Picasso's painting "The Painter and his Model", painted in 1928.

The original is now on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

This theme is recurrent in Picasso's work, "The painter and his model" will accompany the painter throughout his life through numerous works.

Jacquard tapestry made with the authorization of the Picasso Estate which checks and controls the quality of manufacture, weaving and confection. This model, essentially made of wool, can be used as a tapestry (with a loop on the back) or as a carpet.
